Acquisition strengthens BRYCER’s fire safety regulation and life safety compliance market footprint with software and services that ensure a worry-free fire compliance inspection process to create safer environments

January 8, 2026 – Lisle, IL BRYCER, the leader in fire compliance software, today announced the acquisition of InspectionReportsOnline.net (IROL) Inc., a provider of online inspection reports aimed at prevention and community risk reduction services.

Fire safety regulation and life safety compliance are vital public safety concerns. Software plays a crucial role in enforcing fire safety compliance standards by automating and streamlining the inspection-to-enforcement process. Modern software drives compliance forward, reduces backlog, turns reporting into actionable results and ensures that inspections are conducted easily, efficiently and effectively. For over 15 years, BRYCER has helped communities create safer environments – collaborating closely with jurisdictions to standardize and scale enforcement of inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements for fire prevention.

By acquiring IROL, BRYCER delivers on a promise of creating safer environments across the United States by delivering software that automates scheduling, inspection workflows, and real-time updates to ensure a consistent, compliance worry -free fires safety process for any environment. Combining the two companies allows BRYCER to expand market presence and deliver more value for more customers. It also will ensure the delivery of more cohesive solutions to customers and partners with a streamlined process to support a single-vendor experience.

“Our focus has always been on how we can better support Authorities Having Jurisdictions (AHJs) and municipalities by providing innovative software and exceptional customer service to simplify the end-to-end fire safety compliance inspection process, ultimately creating safer environments," said Matthew Rice, Co-Founder of BRYCER. “Acquiring IROL reinforces BRYER’s commitment to making strategic investments that deliver greater value to our customers and service provider partners.  I look forward to welcoming the IROL employees to our growing BRYCER team so we can share best practices and collaborate on delivering greater value to customers and partners.”

BRYCER’s SaaS platform, The Compliance Engine (TCE), helps jurisdictions standardize and scale enforcement of inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements for fire prevention. Custom built for Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to proactively manage and track fire safety compliance inspections, TCE supports enforcement – focused workflows that go beyond storage to ensure reports lead to action. It is the nation’s most widely adopted fire and life safety compliance software and trusted by over 1,420 AHJs to drive oversight, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen public safety.

“It’s exciting for us to be joining BRYCER at a time when they are leading the way in innovation to meet the evolving needs of AHJs and support their ability to enforce fire safety compliance with confidence and result in safer communities,” said Jill Cotton, president and co-founder of InspectionReportsOnline. “We share a customer first approach and look forward to working together to deliver more value to customers and partners.”
